Corporate volunteer
opportunities

Outdoor Connection's Corporate Volunteer Program provides meaningful opportunities to engage your company with not only the Outdoors but to faciliate hands on learning experiences with children and families of the Greater Miami Area. COVID-19 has shown a large disparity of inclusion and accessibilities to the Outdoors. Something as easy as going to the park may not be accessible to families in the Greater Miami Area. Outdoor Connection seeks to bridge the gap and help both children and families enjoy Miami Parks, Waterways, Trails, and Beaches.

Waterway exploration

Explore one of the many public waterways that Miami Dade and Broward County have to offer on kayak or paddle board with a group of 7-14 Community Youth Members. Learn about the area's history and the waterway conservation efforts. Volunteers will help facilitate hands-on learning activities such as restoration, clean ups, and more.

Sponsor a group of local youth

Sponsor a group of 14-20 community youth members to explore Miami's Parks, trails, and beaches.

Paddle With a purpose

Participate in a coastal clean up with your office. Participants will be paddling to a neighboring beach and assisting with clean up and restoration.

Adopt a trail

Enjoy one of the many historic and scenic Florida Trails with a group of 15-30 Youth Community Members. Volunteers will assist in the development, restoration, and protection of these long and winding paths. Corporations will receive an opportunity to adopt a trail and part of the proceeds will go towards the long term maintenance of the trail of their choosing.

Invasive plant removal & native planting

Due to historical clearing of vegetation followed by neglect, invasive plants threatened the ecological integrity of Virginia Key. Help us remove invasive species and the make the island better for all.
